I opened my word mouth to make sounds
the sounds made shapes.

The shapes were right.

Sounds came and the right sounds were there
and the sounds changed and they too
were right.

But when i tried to move the shapes
the sounds were not the right shapes.

The sounds come right when I let them
be.
And the melody is strange.

When I recognized where I’d
heard the melody before, I could not longer
sing.

It’s weird.
How can you be and do while not
being and doing?

And why is that right?
