there is a timeless, idyllic world
of creativity and freedom
that is trying to understand itself

a coal miner digging upward
in a mine filled with stars

distance outside of space
doesn’t make sense to us
these to these explorers
where are they from?

myths record
the mind’s lineage
when they take away
your history
can you find a way
back home?

sure,
but the paperwork is probably a mess.
